Erwin⁸ Whitney (Eli⁷, Nathan⁶, Nathan⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Eli⁷ and Nancy (Whitmore) Whitney, was born 1 Mar 1828, OH, and died 16 May 1893, Merrillan, WI.

He married, 14 Oct 1847, Du Page Co., IL, Olive Jane Durphy/Durfee. She was born 30 Dec 1827, NY, and died 18 Nov 1899, Merrillan, WI.
