Harlow Jones7 Whitney (John6, John5, James4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of John6 and Augusta (Fisk)(Brooks) Whitney, was born 6 Sep 1825, VT, and died 8 Aug 1907, Hall Co., NE. He was buried in Grand Island Cemetery, Grand Island, NE.[1]

He married firstly, 20 Oct 1847, Harriett E. Mac Kentire. She was born about 1830, Delaware Co., NY, and died after 1870.

He married secondly, 2 Feb 1882, Boone Co., NE, Perlina Emma Lake,[2] daughter of James Calvin and Elizabeth (Mills) Lake. She was born about 1864, Vermilion Co., IN, and died 1930. Apparently they were divorced. She married secondly, 7 Mar 1893, Sioux Co., NE, William Henry Lossee.[3] Apparently they were divorced. She married thirdly, 31 Oct 1895, Sioux Co., NE, George Pullen.[4] She was buried in Crawford Cemetery, Crawford, NE.[5]

They resided Pomfret, NY, Brunswick, MO, Gardner, IL, and Grand Island, Fullerton, and Beaver, NE, and Grant, KS.

ii. Eunice W. Whitney, b. ca. Dec 1849, Chautauqua Co., NY; m.(1) before 1880, Thurlow Pettit; m.(2) 1888, Simeon Woodruff; resided Joliet, IL.
iii. Frank B. Whitney, b. ca. 1858, MO. Probably adopted; perhaps the same and John Clary, aged 2, in 1860 census.

iv. Raymond Curtis Whitney, b. 16 Jun 1886, Fullerton, NE.
