He married, 19 Jan 1864, Thomson, IL, Sarah Alden Green (according to several trees at Ancestry.com), daughter of John and Diana (Green) Green. According to Pierce, she was Sarah E. Alden, and Carroll Co. marriage records agree.[1] She was born 25 Dec 1842, Johnstown, OH, and died 18 Jan 1912, Thomson, IL.
