Vespasian Ward⁷ Whitney (Eleazer⁶, Nathan⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of Eleazer⁶ and Martha (Crozer) Whitney, was born about 1793, Halifax, VT, and died between 1840 and 1850.

He married, 24 Sep 1811, Halifax, VT, Katherine Cook. She was born about 1791, MA, and died after 1870.
