William Henry⁷ Whitney (Hezekiah Wells⁶, Walter⁵, Samuel⁴, Richard³, John², Henry¹), son of Hezekiah Wells⁶ and Chloe (Williams) Whitney, was born 8 Dec 1828, Greenbush, NY, and died 4 Jun 1910, Milwaukee, WI.^[1]

He married, 10 Jun 1862, Milwaukee, WI, Julia Elizabeth Perrin, daughter of John G. and Eliza (Childs) Perrin. She was born 28 Jan 1841, South Wilbraham, MA, and died after 1920.

Phoenix says the following:

"They were living at 128 Spring Street, Milwaukee, in May 1875. He has been U. S. Assessor of Internal Revenue for the First District of Wisconsin. His place of business was at 112 Spring Street."
