William Whitmore8 Whitney (Reuben7, Thomas6, David5, Nathan4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Reuben7 and Elizabeth H. (Doan) Whitney, was born 30 May 1843, prob. Hampden, ME, and died 19 Dec 1929, prob. Hampden. ME.

He married, 25 Jul 1875, Hampden, ME, Hellen Maria Kimball, or Helen Maria Delano, daughter of George Asbry and Susan V. (Gray) Delano. She was born 19 Jun 1853, Winterport, ME, and died 2 Feb 1897, prob. Hampden, ME. Both are buried in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Hampden, ME.

iii. Elizabeth Marie Whitney, b. Aug 1884, prob. Hampden, ME; d. 16 Jun 1923; m. 12 Sep 1912, Bangor, ME, LeRoy Woodbury Nason. Buried in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Hampden, ME.
