IV. Ella Annette Whitney, b. at Pittsfield, N.H., 11 June 1843; married there, 28 Dec. 1860, William Badger, son of Judge William Badger, of Concord, N. H. She had one child, who lived five weeks. She died of consumption, in her father's house at Chelsea, Vt., 24 March 1862, and was buried at Chelsea.

II. George Henry Whitney, b. at St Alban's, Vt., 14 Sept. 1843; and was accidentally killed in a saw-mill, at Fairfield, Vt., 10 Oct. 1844. He was buried at Fairfield.

III. Albert Bogue Whitney, b. at Swanton, Vt., 21 Jan. 1844; enlisted, 18 Sept 1861, at Middlebury, Vt., in Co. B, 5th Reg., Vt. Vol. Infantry, and served till he lost a leg on the second day of the seven days battle before Richmond, and was captured. He was held a prisoner four weeks. He was living in Jamestown, Mich., unmarried, in Sept. 1874.
