David Husted7 Whitney (Jared6, Samuel5, John4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of Jared6 and Patience (Husted)(Beebe) Whitney, was born 10 Oct 1816, Paris (now Kirkland), NY, and died after 1874.
He married firstly, 20 Oct 1842, Marshall, NY, Mary Angeline Walker, daughter of William and Amy (Jillson) Walker. She was born 22 Sep 1822, Marshall, NY, and died 15 Jun 1854, Marshall, NY. She was buried in the Whitney Cemetery in Kirkland, NY.
He married secondly, 25 Jul 1855, Marshall, NY, Lydia Eliza Lapham, adopted daughter of Joseph and Mary (Mix) Lapham, of Marshall. She was born 15 Jun 1833, Marshall, NY.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . a farmer; . . . . He settled, in 1851, on the north farm in Marshall, adjoining that of his brother Sylvester, in Kirkland, and was living there in 1874."
David Husted7 Whitney and Mary Angeline (Walker) Whitney had no children.
