Ira7 Whitney (Daniel Thayer6, James5, [prob.] James4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Daniel6 and Content (Stiles) Whitney, was born circa 1797, perhaps VT, and died after 1840, perhaps VT.
He married Lucinda Hudson.
Children of Ira7 and Lucinda (Hudson) Whitney (possibly incomplete):
i. Julia8 Whitney, b. ca. 1830, VT; m. Henry E. Strong; resided Benson, VT, in 1850, and Cavendish, VT. ii. Ellen Lucinda Whitney, b. 2 Aug 1840, Plymouth, VT.
