Samuel⁶ Whitney (Moses⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Moses⁵ and Mary (Page) Whitney, was born 2 Jul 1785, Gorham, ME,^[1] or 8 Jul 1785, Morrill, ME, and died 1869, Morrill, ME, or 27 Mar 1874, Dixmont, ME.

He married, 23 Dec 1810, Belfast or Castine, ME, Margaret Darrow. She was born 15 Mar 1792, Morrill, ME, and died Feb 1883.

He resided Belmont and Morrill, ME.
