William Henry8 Whitney (Isaac7, Jacob6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Isaac7 and Marcia J. (Barclay) Whitney; was born 18 Sep 1840, Stow, MA,[1] and died 14 Jul 1913 Concord, MA of cerebral hemorrhage. He was buried in Brookside Cemetery, Stow, MA. [2]

He married, 7 Jan 1872, Boston, MA, Josephine Swain Osgood. She was born 7 Jun 1850.

He was born in Stow on the farm purchased by his father, Isaac, where he is now residing, and where he has always lived with the exception of two years, when he was in Delaware and following the sea; resided Stow, MA.
