McKendree Whitney ([perhaps] Ira, [probably] Asa7, Eleazer6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), perhaps son of Ira and Mary Ann (-----) Whitney, was born May 1838, VT, and died 29 Mar 1905, Williamstown, Berkshire Co., MA.
He married, firstly, ca. 1860, Melissa Cook. She was born circa 1843, VT, daughter of Benjamin W. and Lucy (Corbett) Cook.
He married, secondly, Eunice M. -----.
