Asa7 Whitney (Eleazer6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Eleazer6 and Martha (Crozer) Whitney, was born 25 Sep 1786, Halifax, VT, and died after 1850.
He married, 19 Jul 1807, Halifax, VT, Martha Cook. She was born about 1788, MA, and died after 1850.
He was married with 2 children in 1810.
Children of Asa7 and Martha (Cook) Whitney:
i. (son)8 Whitney, b. say 1808, Halifax, VT. ii. Rebecca Whitney, b. 16 Feb 1809, Halifax, VT; d. 4 Aug 1889; m. 2 Dec 1830, Halifax, VT, Sumner Bigelow, b. 1 May 1808, Whitingham, VT, d. 5 Dec 1856, Jacksonville, VT, son of Samuel and Sally (Putnam) Bigelow. iii. (daughter) Whitney, b. 1810-1815, Halifax, VT. iv. (son) Whitney, b. 1815-1820, Halifax, VT. This was probably Ira Whitney. v. (daughter) Whitney, b. 1815-1820, Halifax, VT.
