Louis⁷ Whitney (Lemuel⁶, Lemuel⁵, Lemuel⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Lemuel⁶ and Dorcas (Gates) Whitney, was born 8 Jun 1812, Grafton, VT.

He married Louisa W. Parmenter, daughter of Jonas and Marcy (Rogers) Parmenter. She was born about 1812, Holden, MA, and died 23 Oct 1857, Boston, MA, aged 36 years, of dysentery.^[1]
