Amos⁷ Whitney (Hezekiah⁶, Elias⁵, Lemuel⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Hezekiah⁶ and Sarah (Piper) Whitney, was born Stow, MA, and was baptized 1 Aug 1784, Stow, MA.^[1]

Marriage intentions were published 11 Dec 1813, Stow, MA, for him and Patty Wilder "of Sterling".^[2] She was born 21 Jun 1784, and died 5 Oct 1837.

He was a farmer; resided Stow, MA.

ii.	Luceba C. Whitney, b. 6 Sep 1816; d. 30 Nov 1865; m. 24 Jul 1849, Stow, MA, Silas Newton.[5] He was a blacksmith and d. 19 Feb 1856. Ch.: Joseph Newton, Marlborough, MA; John Newton, b. 1 Sep 1856; m. Albert Taylor, 22 Mar 1877; resided Hudson, MA.

He was b. 9 Sep 1813; d. 9 Sep 1867; was a teamster from Boston to Worcester before railroads; also a farmer. Ch.: Persis E., b. 20 Jan 1846; m. 5 June 1867; d. 6 Nov 1874; m.
