Calvin Artemas9 Whitney (Artemas8, Daniel7, Daniel6, Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Artemas8 and Lucy Jane (Pease) Whitney, was born 4 Dec 1858, Assabet Village, Maynard, MA,[1] and died 31 Jan 1909, Maynard, MA, aged 50 years 1 months 27 days, of pneumonia.[2] He was buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard, MA.[3]

He married firstly, 22 Oct 1879, Sudbury, MA, Matilda D. Fix, daughter of John K. and Matilda (-----) Fix.[4] She was born 31 Oct 1858, New York, NY, and died 21 May 1890, Maynard, MA, aged 31 years 6 months, of blood poisoning.[5] She was buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard, MA.[6]

He married secondly, 4 Feb 1892, Maynard, MA, Ethelyn Hayward "Catherine" Jones, daughter of Theodoric Albert and Mary Emma (Dakin) Jones.[7] She was born 4 Feb 1870, Sudbury, MA, and die 24 Mar 1950, Sudbury, MA. She was buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard, MA.[8]

He resided Maynard, MA.
