Ezra7 Whitney (James6, Samuel5, Samuel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of James6 and Eunice (Johnson) Whitney, was born 18 Sep 1793, Newtown, CT,[1] and died 28 Nov 1870, Catharine, NY, aged 77 years 2 months. He was buried in Connecticut Hill Cemetery, Newfield, NY.[2]
He married, Elizabeth Ingle. She was born about 18 Oct 1805, NJ, and died 3 Oct 1900, aged 94 years 11 months 15 days. She was buried in Connecticut Hill Cemetery, Newfield, NY.[3]
He resided Newfield, NY.
Phoenix says the following:
- "Ezra Whitney, b. in Newtown, Conn., 18 Sept. 1793; married, and had children; "lived in York State," and is said to have died in Danby, Tompkins Co. Another story says that he lived and died in Enfield, N. Y.; and a third, that he died and was buried in Newfield, N. Y. Probably the last is true."
