William H.8 Whitney (Eli7, Enoch6, Moses5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Eli7 and Ann (Hartford) Whitney, was born 28 Sep 1828, Harrison, ME, and died 9 Mar 1916, Boston, MA. He was buried 12 Mar 1916, St. Mary's Cemetery, Roslindale, MA.

He married, 30 Mar 1850, Boston, MA, Anna/Annie/Ann E. Scannell, daughter of Daniel Scannell.[1] She was born Aug 1831, Dublin, Ireland, and died 2 Apr 1911, Boston, MA, aged 79 years, of chronic bronchitis.[2] She was buried 3 Apr 1911, St. Mary's Cemetery, Roslindale, MA.
