He married, 30 Mar 1850, Boston, MA, Anna/Annie/Ann E. Scannell, daughter of Daniel Scannell.[1] She was born Aug 1831, Dublin, Ireland, and died 2 Apr 1911, Boston, MA, aged 79 years, of chronic bronchitis.[2] She was buried 3 Apr 1911, St. Mary's Cemetery, Roslindale, MA.
