William Harmon9 Whitney (Adin8, Artemas H.7, John Smith6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Adin8 and Julia (Moores) Whitney, was born 27 Feb 1848, Ludlow, MA, and died 6 Oct 1888, Ludlow, MA, aged 40 years, of Bright's disease.[1]
He married, 13 May 1875, Chicopee, MA, Emmaretta F. Haynes, daughter of N. H. and Phidelia (-----) Haynes.[2] She was born 25 Jun 1855, Portage City, WI, and died after 1886. In the marriages of two children, her surname is given as Terrell and Gordon.
He was a farmer. He resided North Wilbraham, MA.
